¯ Adam Michael Meeks, 21, of 31 Holland Ave., Parkersburg, was heading south on April 23 on Interstate 77 in Muskingum Township when his 2014 Honda Shadow veered off the left side of the roadway and swerved is reversed. He was cited for driving a vehicle without having reasonable control of it.
¯ Staci R. Romine, 33, of 1720 14th Ave., Parkersburg, failed to yield to a stop sign April 23 on Ohio 676 from County Road 13 in Marietta Township. Adam P. Steinel, 38, of 20317 State Route 676, Marietta, was heading east on Ohio 676 and his 2017 Dodge Grand Caravan was hit by Romine’s 2021 Toyota Highlander. She was cited for not giving in to a stop sign. She was taken by the Marietta City Squad to Marietta Memorial Hospital. Steinel was taken by Marietta City Squad to Marietta Memorial Hospital with suspected serious injuries.
¯ Shoshawna Marie Lowers, 37, of 968 Dixon Ridge Road, Lowell, was heading east on April 23 on Township Road 509 in Muskingum Township. His 2021 Jeep Wrangler, owned by Routes Car Rental USA Inc. of Orlando, Florida, veered off the left side of the roadway and hit a fence and a utility pole. She was cited for driving a vehicle without reasonable control. Marijuana and other drugs are believed to have contributed to the crash.
¯ Tyler Ray Keel, 28, of 1666 School House Road, Little Hocking, was heading east on April 24 on Township Road 15 in Belpre Township. His 2012 Mercedes-Benz C-Class caught fire and burned. No citations were issued.
¯ Nathan Lee Locke, 20, of 401 Sycamore St., St. Marys, W.Va., was heading south April 24 on Interstate 77 in Muskingum Township when his 2021 Toyota Corolla hit some debris concrete pavement. No citations were issued.
¯ Jason C. Sapio, 36, of 817 Highland Ave., Williamstown, was heading south on April 24 on Interstate 77 in Muskingum Township when his 2019 Kia Stinger hit concrete and debris. No citations were issued.
¯ Nathan Roger Locke, 46, of 401 Sycamore St., St. Marys, was traveling south on April 24 on Interstate 77 in Muskingum Township when his 2016 Nissan 370Z was struck by roadway debris . No citations were issued.
¯ David L. Colvin, 60, of 804 Front St., Marietta, was heading north April 24 on Ohio 7 in Marietta Township. Teresa A. Lowe, 58, of 107 Mission Road, Marietta, was stopped at a westbound red light on County Road 9. Lowe’s light turned green. Lowe’s 2018 Acura RLX entered the intersection to turn left onto Ohio 7. Colvin failed to stop at a red light on his 2008 Yamaha XVZ13CT/CYS/CT, entered the intersection and hit Lowe’s vehicle. Colvin was taken by the Reno team to Marietta Memorial Hospital with suspected serious injuries. He was also cited for running a red light.
¯ A 1999 Chevrolet Silverado, owned by Mark Whitehair of Harrisville, W.Va., was heading west on April 27 on County Road 30 in Dunham Township. Kila S. Valentine, 36, of 1131 McGill Road, Vincent, was heading east on County Road 30. The Silverado traveled left of center and struck Valentine’s 2022 Hyundai Elantra. After the impact, the Silverado fled and Valentine’s vehicle slid to the right side of the road.
¯ Clyde R. Slone Jr., 71, of 40495 Cone Road, Albany, was heading north April 27 on Ohio 821 in Muskingum Township and traffic came to a halt on the roadway. His 2004 Toyota Sienna swerved to the right to avoid traffic, exited the right side of the roadway and hit a traffic sign. He was cited for driving a vehicle without having reasonable control of it.
¯ Krista E. Simon, 24, of 2697 Lake Road, Fleming, was southwest on April 28 on County Road 27 in Barlow Township, negotiating a right-hand curve. Gregory L. Noland, 68, of 2800 27th St., Parkersburg, was northeast on County Road 27 negotiating a left curve. Simon’s 2015 Hyundai Elantra crossed the center line, hitting Noland’s 2013 Ford Taurus. The Taurus was pushed to the right side of the roadway and hit a guardrail. Simon was cited for not driving on the right side of the roadway.
¯ Tremayne Curtis Wilson, 38, of 5130 Robinhood Drive, Willoughby, was heading north April 29 on Interstate 77 in Enoch Township. The truck he was driving, a 2016 Kenworth T680 owned by Freewheeling LLC of Cleveland, hit a mattress on the pavement that lodged up to the trailer and caught fire. No citations were issued.
¯ Haylee M. Ross, 18, of 240 Hickman Road, Waterford, Bernard L. Pahl, 75, of 771 Brackenridge Road, Vincent, and Susan S. Nelson, 44, of 10787 State Route 339, Vincent, were all southbound April 30 on Ohio 330 in Belpre Township. Pahl’s 2022 Honda Ridgeline and Nelson’s 2010 Toyota Camry stopped in traffic. Ross’ 2018 Subaru Legacy hit Pahl’s vehicle, which hit Nelson’s vehicle. Ross was cited for not maintaining an assured clear distance in front of him.
¯ Melissa Lynn Long, 55, of 291 Vickers Road, Marietta, was heading west on May 1 on Ohio 550 in Warren Township when her 2007 Toyota FJ Cruiser left the right side of the roadway, hit a ditch and rolled over. She was cited for not driving in a single lane of traffic.
